Bedrooms at Gilpin Hotel

Designed without compromise, all of our rooms are spacious, quiet, with lovely views and constant refurbishment. All are equipped with flat screen TVs with digital TV, luxurious toiletries, mini bars, tea and coffee facilities with home made biscuits and fresh milk, and a flask of iced water.).

Spa Lodges

Five luxurious detached lodges at Gilpin Hotel, each cedar-clad with a fabulously private en-suite spa – with treatment area, steam room, rain maker shower, free standing oval stone bath, sauna and hot tub surrounded by a walled garden – and wonderful views over the gardens to the Lake District moors.

Huge open plan suites with super king size bed and large bathrooms with separate walk-in showers and
sumptuous baths. The open plan lounges have feature fireplaces and patio doors leading to decked gardens with their own cedarwood hot tub. What better way to round off a crisp wintry walk than by sinking into your hot tub – especially fabulous in the winter!

Lovely large rooms with open plan lounge areas and patio doors leading directly onto the gardens, with tables and chairs outside (spring to autumn). King size beds (except Thirlmere, with an antique Moroccan queen size four poster) and large bathrooms with walk-in showers and spa baths (except Kentmere, which has a bath).

Mostly on the first floor of the original house, the Master Rooms are open plan with queen or king size beds, small sitting areas (usually a couple of comfy arm chairs and a coffee table) and garden views. All bar one of these rooms has a separate bath and shower.

Overlooking the courtyard, moors and gardens, the Classic Rooms have standard double beds and are our most modest rooms by size, but are still very comfortable, with one or two armchairs or a sofa. All have beautiful bathrooms with combined baths and showers.
