Just a mile away from Gilpin Hotel, enter through electric gates to discover Gilpin Lake House, a sanctuary where eight gorgeous rooms and Spa Suites share a fully staffed boutique hotel with a heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tubs and saunas, and exclusive access to 100 acres of grounds with a stunningly beautiful small private lake.

Set within the grounds, the viewpoint “Cat’s Crag” has 360 degree Lakeland views with a herd of wild deer living nearby, or the walk around the lake and the gardens can absorb a morning. For the more energetic, there are some beautiful runs and bike trails, coarse fishing for the initiated, even a swim in the lake, or just mess about on the water in one of our rowing boats.

Gilpin Lake House is also available as an idyllic wedding venue and as well as for exclusive use.

Breakfast and afternoon tea is served overlooking the lake (or in your room), and for lunch and dinner there is a complimentary chauffeur to take you to the restaurants at Gilpin Hotel.

Do you have air conditioning in the bedrooms?

Yes, air conditioning is available in our Spa Suite bedrooms.

Do you allow children at the hotel?

Yes, we welcome children aged 7 and over at Gilpin Hotel. Children of all ages are welcome to dine at Gilpin Spice.

Do you have dog-friendly rooms?

Yes, we have a selection of lovely dog-friendly rooms, so there’s no need to leave your four-legged friend at home. Dogs are charged at £30 per dog, per stay.

Dogs are also welcome to join you when dining at Gilpin Spice, although we’re unable to accommodate them during the evening service at SOURCE.

Do you have electric vehicle charging?

Yes, electric vehicle charging points are available in our car park, with individual chargers also available for our Spa Suites.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes, we have an easily accessible room available, although the bathroom is not fully wheelchair equipped. Please speak to our Reservations team before booking and they’ll be happy to talk through the room and your individual requirements.
