On our 20-acre Gilpin Hotel estate, you’ll find 30 country chic bedrooms, including 6 Junior Suites (each with a lounge area opening onto the gardens and its own hot tub), 6 Garden Suites (each with their own outdoor cedarwood hot tub) and 5 Spa Lodges (each with convertible treatment area, steam room, rain shower, stone bath and outdoor sauna and hydrotherapy hot tub) and 5 even bigger Spa Suites (a bedroom ‘floating’ over the pond with views to the mountains; a living area with lounge, dining table & bar, huge circular stone bath and a double shower; a fabulous spa room with sauna, steam room, infrared lounge bed, a state-of-the-art automated massage chair; and of course a huge hot tub outside).
Just over a mile from Gilpin Hotel in a unique private setting is the 100-acre Gilpin Lake House estate, with its spa, small lake, boathouse, hot tubs, and swimming pool (exclusive to Lake House guests). With only six bedrooms this beautiful house has the feeling of a fully staffed private country house; breakfast is served in your room or at your table in the conservatory. Lunch and afternoon tea can be taken wherever you prefer, and in the evenings choose from dining in our Michelin-starred SOURCE at Gilpin Hotel or Gilpin Spice at Gilpin Hotel.

Designed as the ultimate spa sanctuary for two, at 100 square metres the Spa Suites have a beautiful ‘outdoors / indoors’ spirit, themed décor and a lush display of live plants suspended from a lightwell to create each suite’s own atrium.
With views to the mountains to the west, and tranquil woodlands with a stream to the east, each nestles into the surrounding area with delightful planting behind a beautiful curved Lakeland stone wall. Every suite has floor to ceiling windows and patio doors opening out onto a gorgeous south facing decked garden with fountain water features, living wall of ferns, and – of course – a stunning 2 metre square stone-built hot tub, all alongside a huge pond.

- The ‘Spa Suite Trail’ is a bespoke sensory experience designed to gently stimulate and revive the senses; take time to enjoy the experience together. As well as a 50 minute Pure Lakes spa treatment, delve into your fabulous Spa Goody Box – designed specifically with each part of your trail in mind, from the Lusso stone bath to the steam room, sauna, infrared lounge bed, automated massage chair, and of course the huge outdoor hot tub. Minimoon packages are subject to availability
All package prices are inclusive of VAT
Spa trails include a 50 minute Pure Lakes spa treatment and light bite
Spa products tailored to each room type
Tickets for Windermere Lakes Cruises include a lake cruise on Lake Windermere. This includes access to the red or yellow cruises, additional charges may occur for cruises not part of your minimoon package. Pre-booking of your chosen cruise is not required
*Drinks are not included in your package (unless specified in the above package details)
Deposits:
Booking deposits are £250 per room per stay for all rooms except Spa Lodges and Spa Suites, which are £400 per room per stay.
Cancellations:
Where cancellations are made for reservations involving 1 or 2 rooms, no charges will be made provided that 14 days notice is given of cancellations or amendments of reservation. Any deposits will be fully refunded.
For reservations involving 3 or more rooms, 28 days notice is required for any cancellations or amendments. Any deposits will be fully refunded.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
Non-arrivals or reservation which are cancelled or amended within the above cancellation periods will be charged 80% of the booking value. If we are able to re-let the accommodation we would, of course, refund any cancellation fees except for any shortfall.
