TARIFF – BED & BREAKFAST
Rates are per room per night (based on double occupancy), and include full English breakfast and VAT, as well as complimentary use of nearby health centre (with pool and gym) for guests staying at Gilpin Hotel, and an in-house spa exclusively for guests staying at Gilpin Lake House. We welcome children over the age of seven.
The Lake House Suites range in price with Adgie, Ethel, Maud, Beatrice and Gertie in one tier and Harriet in the top tier.
Please note that a minimum of a 2 night stay applies to weekends and a minimum of 3 nights stay applies to Bank Holidays. However, we do sometimes have last minute availability for a one night stay.

Deposits
Booking deposits are £250 per room per stay for all rooms except Spa Lodges and Spa Suites, which are £400 per room per stay.

ABOUT OUR ROOMS
All rooms are quiet with delightful views, stylishly decorated to a very high standard, with large and luxurious ensuite bathrooms; all are non-smoking.
We will always note any preferences you express for a particular room and use our best endeavours to accommodate your wishes, but this may not always be possible and a similar room may be substituted.
GILPIN HOTEL
Guests staying at the Hotel can choose to dine at either SOURCE at Gilpin Hotel or Gilpin Spice or should there not be an exclusive booking at Gilpin Lake House, then Knipe Grill at Gilpin Lake House will be available to dine.
CLASSIC BEDROOM: (average 25m2): Traditional double beds with comfortable seating in the room, and either shower only, or combined bath and shower.
MASTER BEDROOM: (average 35m2): Large rooms with king, queen or twin beds, and comfortable lounge areas. Some bathrooms have combined bath and showers, whilst others have separate bath and walk-in showers.
JUNIOR SUITE: (average 39m2): Very large open plan rooms with lounge areas (some split level). All have king-size or twin beds except one, which has a queen-size size four poster bed. All have French windows and private patios leading to the gardens. The bathrooms are large with lovely baths and separate walk-in showers. All Junior suites now have their own hot Tubs.
GARDEN SUITE: (average 43m2): Designed for complete relaxation with a large, light and airy space rather than the traditional concept of separate rooms. All have huge glass-fronted lounge areas, individual gardens with cedar wood hot tubs, enormous beds, large sofas (some of which convert to beds), modern fireplaces, flat screen TVs, and sensual bathrooms.
SPA LODGE: (75m2) Each cedar-clad with king size beds, gorgeous bathrooms and a fabulous en-suite spa along with mood lighting, fires, electric blinds and a state-of-the-art music system – invigorating all of the senses. The Spa Lodges each have a convertible treatment area, steam room, rain maker shower, free standing oval stone bath, outdoor sauna and hydrotherapy hot tub surrounded by a walled garden – and wonderful views over the gardens to the Lake District moors.
SPA SUITE: (100m2) Even bigger cedar clad lodges comprising three separate areas… an open plan lounge, bar, dining and seating area with a hanging fireplace, a huge circular bath, a forest-themed living wall and water feature, all with gorgeous views into your south facing walled garden and hot tub… The bedroom on the western end ‘floats’ over the pond with a west facing window seat, and patio doors leading onto your balcony and walled garden… On the eastern end is your spa, with a steam room, sauna and a treatment room with infrared lounge beds, east facing windows and further patio doors leading to the walled garden… Other features include Sonos music in all areas, a 60 inch TV and electric car chargers.
GILPIN LAKE HOUSE
For guests staying at the Lake House, lunch and afternoon tea can be taken wherever you prefer, and in the evenings choose from the 2 restaurants at the main hotel (SOURCE at Gilpin Hotel or Gilpin Spice.)
LAKE HOUSE ROOM: Open plan rooms with double or twin beds, seating areas, en-suite bathrooms, luxurious toiletries and beautiful views. All are equipped with flat screen TVs and IPOD docking stations, and tea and coffee trays with home-made biscuits. The Lake House and 100 acres of grounds are for the exclusive use of Lake House guests, with a cedarwood hot tub overlooking the lake, a hydrotherapy hot tub looking towards Morecambe Bay, an indoor sauna with halotherapy, an outdoor sauna and an indoor swimming pool; these can be privately booked for Lake House guests at any time, at no charge. The Lake House is just under a mile from the main hotel.
