We’re looking for a full‑time Housekeeper who brings care, consistency, and a calm, confident approach to creating beautifully presented spaces. You’ll take ownership of your rooms, work with precision and pride, and support the wider team in delivering the serene, luxury environment that defines Gilpin’s guest experience.

Salary: £26,624 – £27,248 per year

Gratuities: £234 – £351 per month (average)

Housekeeping at Gilpin is central to the guest experience: immaculate rooms, serene spa lodges, and beautifully maintained public spaces all contribute to the calm, luxurious atmosphere our guests return for. Working within a high‑performing, supportive team, you’ll help deliver the meticulous standards that underpin our Two Michelin Keys and 5 AA Red Stars.

Your Role as Housekeeper:

• Cleans and prepares guest rooms consistently to a five‑star standard, ensuring precision, care, and readiness throughout the day.
• Maintains immaculate public areas, contributing to the serene atmosphere that defines the Gilpin experience.
• Manages laundry, linen, and housekeeping stock with organisation and attention to detail.
• Identifies and reports maintenance issues promptly to support smooth operations.
• Works closely with the wider hotel team to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient daily flow.

What You Bring

• Passion for cleanliness, presentation, and luxury hospitality.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in creating beautiful spaces.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experience in 4‑ or 5‑star housekeeping is beneficial, but full training is provided.
• Curiosity, consistency, and a desire to grow within a high‑performing, guest‑focused environment.
